I Remember Christmas (part 2 prologue)

I then sent the script to a literary agent, who liked it but advised that it would do better with illustrations. Having no training in art, I endeavored to paint a series of watercolor paintings to help illustrate the contents of my script.  The need to illustrate this script lead me into a new and exciting field of Folk Art.  Today my art is exhibited and sold in a prestigious art gallery in Soho, New York City.

Now for a little more information on background, I was born in British Guiana now called Guyana.  Most of my educational years were spent between Guyana, South America, and Ghana, West Africa.  I came to the United States in 1987.  I have since remarried, and have a loving family of four.  This children’s book is my second attempt at writing. My first was Day in the Life of Abby.

As a child growing up,I found that it was the little things that made Christmas pleasant; a kiss, a hug, a thank you, a little gift. The simple action of love and deed.

Even if you cannot give an expensive gift or a big one, remember it is the token appreciation that matters. Lastly, be loving, be creative, and remember the reason for Christmas - therein lies its beauty and spirit.  For I tell you it is truly a spirit.

I remember Christmas.

My art is now on show at www.Trunc.net. You may contact me for attached art Majesty or visit my website https://www.marabuntaenterprise.com/
